We are committed to your son or daughter's security, personal development, and professional development during their participation in the Internship Scotland program.

We provide on-site support, including:

• All interns have the opportunity to purchase a UK pay as you go mobile/cell phone prior to arrival. This provides them with a UK personal cell phone number before they leave, so you can contact them at all times during their time in Scotland. These numbers are circulated to all enrolled interns so they can stay in touch with others in the program more easily. Credit can be added easily with any international credit card.
• All accommodations are located in safe neighborhoods and comply with all of the most-recent safety regulations. Accommodation is provided by Destiny Scotland Group.
• We have two dedicated members of staff on-site in Edinburgh who are available to support Internship Scotland interns during the week and weekends. 
• An orientation session, where interns learn about safety and emergency issues. Students are provided with the telephone number and address of the US Consulate in Edinburgh.
• Finally, Edinburgh is one of the safest cities in Europe, with a very low crime rate and a large student population. The summer period especially attracts like-minded young people from all over the world who enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere.
